The history of Chiflik is not too long as the history of other places in Bulgaria, but it is full with doings, coresponding with the big changes in the bulgarian land during the last two centuries: struggle against Ottoman empire, participation of a peoples from the village in the wars after the Liberation and in political and economical processes in the young bulgarian state.

The first settlers cam here at the end of 18-th century. They had escaped from tutkish terror bulgarian peoples from Trakia and the Danube Plain which had found shelter here.
They had found here virgin woods, difficult to access places to build a house and to free a litle place for him self and animals.

Аt that time everybody was made him self all neccesary from life things. Money almost do not used.
The main means of livelihood stock-breeding: goats, sheeps, horses, cattles, buffalos, pigs.
