Chiflik has own specific local colour, different from the colour in the other regions of Bulgaria. Georgaphic location and nature was given own influence over the inhabitants of Chiflik.

To the present was remained very interesting and valued articles of the life and culture 100 years ago, with big historical and culture value.

How was lived old peoples of Chiflik? What were the interior of old houses?:
They was choosed high and remote places,for the house building.
They was clear the forests for the place for the house, animals and cultivate area. In the meadles they was put a stake with horses kull mark that this place is occupied, and symbolize hard efforts to free this place.
The houses were small, with one floor and one or two rooms. The walls where built with wooden fence, filled up with clay
The roofs were covered with slates from the mountain.The doors were two: big ans small (in and out).
The small one was providented for escape, from the turkish. There wasn't windows, because there was a tax for every window.
In the rooms was a fireplace with a fire for heatirg and lighting. Later was used flashlights and oil pamps.
Later wealther villagers was built houses with two floors with more rooms.
Peoples was sleeping on the floor or on a plank-beds.The cover was straw-mat or goat's hair rug and covering was rug or fleecy rug.
