Fruit growing, cattle breeding, wood-processing and of course tourism are major business activies in Chiflik. Raspberries, plums and potatoes are mostly grown here. The forests arround are rich of game such as deers, wild boar and birds. In the forests are growing mushrooms and useful bushes as blackberry, dog rose, hawthorn, cornel-tree.
A traditional dring is the Troyan plum brandy. Most of families have plum trees. The fruits are picking in the beginning of september and it is placed to ferment. The distilling of the brandy is some kind of art.
